Since the business’s establishment, Midpro has become a prominent stature within the Forbes community and has built a strong reputation amongst the Agricultural realm, providing customers with innovative and tailored machinery, and catering to all aspects of farmland irrigation.

 

Midpro Engineering owner, Ian Bartholomaeus (Bart) started the company with big ambitions and has work tirelessly, driving the business from strength to strength. As a qualified TAFE teacher, Bart has the credentials as well as the passion for training the next generation of skilled labour in the metal trade and has done so through the education of over 60 apprentices since Midpro was established.  

 

From a business that started with two men and one shed, 25 years on Midpro now boasts over 3000 square metres of fully equipped and enclosed machining and fabrication workshops and a modern retail store, stocking an extensive range of parts and accessories. With the skilled team and ample range of equipment, Midpro can complete all types of aluminium, TIG and MIG welding, precision turning, milling, drilling, boring and CNC Plasma cutting. The team are also experts in the design, supply and installation of all irrigation requirements including pumps, motors, water meters, Centre Pivots and pipework including bore, river and lift pump assemblies.

 

In 2017, Midpro saw the completion and unveiling of the Midpro Retail Store. Adding a showroom to Midpro’s already illustrious résumé was a vision of Bart’s from the very start, and in April 2017, the next step in building the business finally came to life. The retail store boasts a large range of pulleys, sprockets, bearings, couplings, pipe fittings, belts, bolts and much more and is manned throughout business hours for assistance and advice on all things parts.
